Warriors return home for game six against Houston

San Francisco, California – Warriors Return Home for Crucial Game Six

After suffering a grueling loss in Houston against the Rockets, the Warriors return home for Game Six.

The Warriors are currently leading the series 3-2, but it is clear that the Rockets are determined to emerge from this series as the winner. The H-Town boys have been playing a physical brand of basketball to throw Curry off his game.

The Rockets are not only battling the Warriors for a chance to move on to the Western Conference Semifinals. They are also fighting to overcome their 0-4 record against the Warriors in playoff history. Since 2015 through 2019, the Warriors and Rockets have met at various stages of the playoffs:

  • 2015 Western Conference Finals: Warriors won 4-1
  • 2016 First Round: Warriors won 4-1
  • 2018 Western Conference Finals: Warriors won 4-3
  • 2019 Western Conference Semifinals: Warriors won 4-2

With an overall total of 23 games during that four-year time period, the Warriors lead with the most playoff games won at 16-7. Now, as the Warriors and Rockets enter the sixth game of their current playoff series with Golden State leading 3-2, the question remains: Will history repeat itself, or will the Rockets finally rewrite it?

Game six between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets will be available to view on ESPN at 9pm eastern (6pm pacific).
